SUNRATE Empowers B2B Transactions with Apple Pay Integration

SUNRATE’s adoption of Apple Pay brings enhanced security, privacy and convenience to B2B transactions.

SUNRATE, a global payment and treasury management platform for businesses, announced the integration of Apple Pay for its customers, offering a safer and more private payment method. This move leverages the advanced security features of the iPhone to protect transactions and aligns with the growing demand for seamless and secure business transactions.

Qincheng Wang, Head of Product at SUNRATE, emphasized the platform’s commitment to providing the same level of convenience and security in business transactions that customers experience in personal transactions. The support for Apple Pay is part of SUNRATE’s broader vision to drive the digitalization of B2B transactions worldwide.

Prioritizing security and privacy

The integration of Apple Pay allows SUNRATE customers to make contactless payments easily using their iPhone or Apple Watch at payment terminals, as well as online purchases on iPhone, iPad and Mac in Safari without the need to enter shipping and billing information repeatedly.

Apple Pay’s design prioritizes security and privacy, ensuring that credit or debit card numbers are not stored on devices or Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is created, encrypted and stored securely on the device. This system is backed by authentication methods like Face ID, Touch ID, device passcode or a one-time unique dynamic security code for each transaction.

Simple setup process

Users can add their SUNRATE commercial credit cards to their devices by using the Wallet app and immediately begin using Apple Pay. This feature supports over 15 currencies and allows customization of card parameters such as limits and expiration dates. SUNRATE also provides real-time transaction statements to support various reconciliation needs, adhering to the highest data security standards, including PCI DSS Level 1 certification.
